Who we are
I have been flying unmanned aircraft well before any regulations existed.
My first experiences were with line controlled gas driven unmanned aircraft.
I soon progressed to radiocontrolled aircraft. This was over 65 years ago.
A small group of us living in Bangor would get together and fly inside the oval at Bass Park in Bangor.
I moved to Hampden, Maine in 1970. I started flying again with
battery drones,
when they first became available, with no regulations at that time.
Today it is much different and I would be happy to talk to you if you have interest in drones.
Most time was spent at the fields by the Hampden schools in the evenings if good weather.
Today I fly 3 camera drones.
I am always looking to promote drone education and talk to people about the future of drone uses.
I am licensed by the FAA as a Recreational UAS Operator and working on my Commercial Part 107 License.
